Professional statement

Aimy Campbell is a licensed social worker based out of Tucson, AZ, who works with adults moving beyond past trauma, navigating current hardships or searching for purpose in their life. Aimy’s clients are resilient, outside the box thinkers who care deeply for others but find it difficult to build up supports of their own. Frequent issues addressed in therapy include grief, relocation, divorce, career difficulties and addiction recovery.

Aimy’s approach is eclectic and focused on increasing flexibility regarding old beliefs that have outgrown their use. This flexibility creates a unique opportunity to reconnect with a sense of joy and creativity that helps to craft attitudes and behaviors more suited to the present day.

Aimy takes the relationship between client and therapist seriously, with an understanding that trust, courage collaboration and acceptance are the essential components of creating change. Aimy offers sessions both in person and via telehealth to make therapy convenient and accessible.

Message to clients

An essential part of my work as a clinician is the process of setting aside my own point of view to take your perspective. Among the many things therapy can offer this is perhaps the most special. My hope, among other things is to help you understand how resilient you truly are and be a witness to your transformation. I can offer skills, knowledge and perspective, but only you can do the work.

The most unique quality I bring to the table as a clinician is my lived experience of long term recovery from significant trauma and other significant challenges. I understand what it is like to be a client, and how much strength it takes to make sweeping changes in one’s life. Together we can absolutely help you create the life you desire and deserve.
