Professional statement

It is essential to find a the therapist that you can be completely comfortable with to share openly without holding back and you feel understood and genuinely accepted unconditionally.

Dr. Kireem spent over 14 years of his adult life learning about the human brain, mind, and the underlying beliefs we hold about ourselves. He also has been providing mental health services since 2008 working at all settings before opening his private practice in 2015. Dr. Kireem has worked with thousands of clients who are going through depression, anxiety, relationship issues, addiction, life stages transition, and much more.

Dr. Kireem starts by learning about you and your own underlying beliefs about yourself that might be holding you back and keeping you from reaching your full potential. Then he uses his Expertise to empower you to rewrite your story in a more positive and encouraging perspective.

Since no one individual like the other, Dr. Kireem uses the therapeutic method that fits with you personally the most and based on what you are going through at this time of your life. He has been trained extensively in cognitive behavioral, dialectical behavioral, psychoanalysis, attachment-based, Jungian, motivational interviewing, existentialism, exposure and preventative therapy to name a few. Dr. Kireem was trained by the most prominent figures in the field such as Harold Mosak, Aaron Beck, Albert Bandura, and others.

In the past three years he has been meeting most of his clients virtually, while he also meets some of his clients at his office in Rolling Meadows, IL. since he realized we can have the same experience virtually as well.

Message to clients

I believe everyone needs therapy at some point of their lives. We all go through difficult situations and challenges that shouldn’t be just ignored. That’s why it takes courage to be able to face these challenges and seek help from someone who is unbiased while accepting, understanding, and knowledgeable about what you are going through.

Unfortunately, when we are in a certain situation for a long time we tend to normalize it and thinking that’s how things should be. While we may be in a denial or can’t accept that we have been in the wrong relationship or the wrong career for a long time. It’s just difficult to see the picture while you’re in it and you need someone who is knowledgeable enough about the human psyche to guide you through these situations to be able to handle them in a wise manner. It is critical to understand that people are not the same and that’s why we should NOT treat everyone like we want to be treated. This’s just a false statement. We should treat everyone kindly while setting the right boundaries. Carl Jung once said, “The man sees in the world what’s in his heart”. This is a loaded statement to be analyzed.

On a different note, if you are experiencing anxiety, depression, or any other symptoms of a different issues, we can apply the right approach for these symptoms to eliminate or reducing them as much as possible. Medication should be the last resort.
