Andrea Reynolds
She/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, LMFTAShe/Her/Hers
Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, LMFTAAndrea Reynolds is a marriage and family therapist in Snohomish who works with individuals, teens, and adults. Many of Andrea’s clients come in to address life transitions, anxiety, and relationship difficulties. Andrea is particularly passionate about serving women in times of transition or change, such as cultivating their personal identity or seeking a new direction in life.
Andrea also enjoys working with people facing spiritual concerns, whether they are in faith transition, spiritual crisis, or simply exploring/developing their spirituality in general. She has extensive experience seeing clients with connections to the Mormon or LDS faith.
Andrea is trained in emotion focused therapy (EFT), narrative therapy, mindfulness, and attachment theory. In session, she helps clients tune into their emotional responses in order to gather information about underlying issues that may influence behavior. This approach supports clients in becoming more comfortable with a broad range of emotions and confident in their ability to cope with difficult feelings. Andrea helps her clients develop a stronger sense of identity, self-awareness, and personal values, which they can use as a framework for setting healthy boundaries. They are able to be more intentional about their lives, making conscious decisions about who they want to be, what kind of life they want for themselves, and the type of relationships they want to develop with others.
Andrea's style is gentle, compassionate, and non-judgmental. When clients first start therapy, she collaborates with them in setting goals and focus for therapy, then works to create a safe and supportive therapeutic relationship that will provide help and support in reaching those goals.
Andrea received her MS in Marriage and Family Therapy from Seattle Pacific University in 2015, then started her practice immediately after graduation.
