Licensed Professional Counselor Associate, LPC-A Psychologist, PsyD"Pain is inevitable but suffering is optional" ~Old Buddhist saying~ Pain is a part of life but it does not have to rule your life. Suffering is not a part of life. We do it to ourselves by allowing our pain to take over our lives. We may try to cope by ignoring, rejecting or holding onto our pain by addictive behaviors (e.g. drugs, obsessive thinking about the past and ourselves). Thus, we only cause ourselves more pain and suffering. You don't have to sit alone with your pain and suffer. It would be my pleasure and honor to be a part of your journey towards Healing. I am here for You. I am a Dr. of Psychology (known as "Dr. Anita" to many), deeply committed to each and every one of my clients. This isn't just a job to me. It is my Life's Work.
