Professional statement

Anne Penn is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has experience in secular and Christian businesses and is currently the CEO of Beach Glass Counseling. She has specialized training in couple and family counseling. She has taught college classes in Assertive Communication and Stress Management. She takes an individualized approach to each person she sees in her office and works to empower them to be the best they can be. She is exclusively offering Telehealth counseling and is able to meet through HIPPA compliant live video feed offering privacy and the comfort of their own space. She looks forward to meeting each client and helping them to find peace, joy, and health.

Anne believes you have the innate ability to find balance and healing despite the oftentimes crippling effects of trauma. She is now offering trauma care with EMDR to assist you on your journey to well being and taking control of your life once again. She offers a stance of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy in assisting with further growth and development. She approaches each person and couple she engages with an openness and an ability to modify the counseling sessions to meet their needs.

Anne believes therapy is about her clients and works with them to process through at their own rate of speed. Some may find the relief and focus they desire in just a few sessions and some may choose to take longer. Always with a sensitivity to vulnerability and tolerance, she guides her clients to meet their goals and help them develop some personalized skills to sustain them from the time they leave her office to serve them for the rest of their lives. Anne is honored to be with you as you work out some things and recognize just how valuable you really are.

Message to clients

Have you ever felt as if you were alone? That if anyone really knew what you were thinking or doing you would be ostracized or judged? Do you feel as if you could scream at the top of your lungs and no one would ever hear you? If you can relate I want you to tell you I will see you. I will hear you. I will get to know you and accept you where you are. You are valuable. You have purpose.

I would like to help you feel sure footed and free again. I believe you can walk with confidence and have improved relationships through getting to know yourself and connecting on a new level. Feel free to check out her website to see if we're a fit. If you're ready to find the authentic you, please call or email today.
