Brittany is a Licensed Clinical Mental Health Counselor Associate in Charlotte, North Carolina who works with children, adolescents, and families. Brittany is passionate about helping empower clients, parents and families create sustainable changes in behavior in order to cultivate healthier relationships. She strives to create an environment of authenticity and openness where clients can explore their emotions and feelings while working through their challenges.
In her practice, Brittany uses a holistic approach. She uses a variety of evidence-based approaches such as Cognitive Behavior Therapy (CBT), Mindfulness, Play Therapy and Solution Focused Therapy in order to meet each individual client’s needs. Brittany works to help clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, and behaviors are interconnected as a catalyst for positive change. Brittany is committed to helping others heal and navigate the struggles of life.
Brittany received a Master’s in Education for School Counseling from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. She has worked as a School Counselor for the past 8 years in Charlotte Mecklenburg Schools. Brittany has extensive knowledge of the educational system and getting the appropriate services needed for clients.
