Professional statement

"I can't get my thoughts straight, there is so much to worry about". "I would rather stay in bed then to face all of the things that I have to do, but can't get myself to do it". When you start each day with a swarm of thoughts, heaviness in your chest and fear in your heart, it would be seemingly normal to avoid it all. But, there is a part of you that knows avoidance can no longer be relied upon, you know that life is out there and needs to be lived to its fullest. It's just that you feel like can't do it on your own and you don't want to feel like a burden to your loved ones. Stability, accomplishment, a sense of certainty, courage, ability to tolerate discomfort-this is what you want.

Life is certainly challenging but it cannot be avoided. I will apply my 20 years of clinical experience to overcome those feelings of fear, anxiety, and lack of motivation. Perhaps you were dealt with multiple traumas in life, such encounters could be plaguing your nervous system, emotions and thoughts. I will use somatic based, emotionally focused, cognitive behavioral and behavioral activation strategies for you to heal through trauma, manage those emotions and find ways to tackle what needs to be done. I don't expect for you change overnight, I will work at your pace with empathy, compassion and lead you to develop the realization of your genuine self AND your abilities (believe me, you have them)!

You won't feel better until some change occurs.

Don't wait any longer-call or email me today to get started.

Message to clients

I have been described by clients as "calming" and "understanding" while also providing the nudge needed for my clients to create the life they have wanted all along.

You will receive me as someone who will genuinely listen to you- your thoughts, your feelings, what your bodily sensations indicate and provide you with the comfort to be authentic and genuine with what you have gone through, what you continually go through without judgment or criticism.

I will help you identify the patterns that have developed which impact the relationship you have with yourself, with others and how you see (and interact) with the world.

I won't be able to change the circumstances you are going through, I will help you change the way you view and engage with the circumstances. You will be more self-aware, more self-attuned, more empathic to others, and resilient in the face of difficulties after our work together.
