If and when it makes sense, Davida integrates music therapy, energy healing, and yoga to support a client’s whole body, mind, and energy system is engaged in the healing process.

Davida has worked in psychiatric hospitals and intensive outpatient programs as a music therapist and therapist. Davida was the program director of an adolescent outpatient program and has worked as a Military Family Life Counselor at an elementary school. Outside of being a therapist, Davida has been music director of a children's theater and piano teacher. Outside of private practice, Davida enjoys running, yoga, listening to audio books and podcasts, being with family and friends, hiking, and playing board games. Davida is currently providing remote therapy, but will be inviting clients back into her office in the Fall of 2022.

Message to clients

You are so brave right now. Looking for a counselor is vulnerable and it can be hard to find someone who is a good fit. I am very client focused and collaborative, I can provide structure and a specific plan, or I can be flexible and provide a space for catharsis. I am happy to offer traditional talk therapy, but if you are interested in engaging in other approaches, you are welcome to come to your telehealth session with an instrument, journal, yoga mat, and/or art supplies.

This is your process and your healing. I look forward to joining you on your journey.
