Davis Falcon, MA, LPC, NCC is a psychotherapist practicing in Broomfield, CO. Davis graduated with honors from Regis University in 2019 with a Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling and has been working in the field of psychology for over 7 years. In addition to 3 years of experience providing individual psychotherapy, he has experience working with patients/clients in a number of different capacities including outpatient psychiatric rehabilitation programs, community mental health, and inpatient hospital settings. Davis has expertise in working with a wide variety of diagnoses and goals including, but not limited to: Anxiety, Depression, Trauma, Stress, Obsessive Compulsive Disorder, Psychosis, Bipolar Disorder, Existential Dread, Personal Growth, and Burnout.
Davis views psychology from a primarily Jungian/Depth theoretical lens, though uses an eclectic and pragmatic approach in providing treatment, using a wide variety and theoretical frameworks. Some of the theories he utilizes in addition to Jungian/Depth include: Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavioral Therapy (DBT), Gestalt, Existential, Mindfulness, Dreamtending, Somatic Experiencing, and is an EMDR trained therapist. It is important to find what works for the individual, as we are all unique, then use a theoretical framework that is most effective for the client's experience, symptomology, or desired outcomes. Davis also believes it is important to examine and interact with the unconscious, whether it be through metaphor, symbolism, dreams, art, or any other expressions that work for the client's own experience. Through this approach, all aspects of the Self are addressed and provide the basis for change, resolution, and balance in a way that is uniquely suited to the person.
