"The Unfiltered Therapist," known as Hannah Sadock, is a licensed marriage and family therapist (LMFT) in the state of PA specifically practicing in the Philadelphia area. Hannah just recently launched her own practice known as Restore Relationships Unfiltered Therapy with a mission to foster the power and model the authenticity of speaking one's truth. Hannah aims to engage uncomfortable conversations that mainstream society tends shy away from, which can leave many feeling a sense of loneliness in their pain. Hannah dives into this pain, unpacking, discovering, and exploring the potential root or meaning to our inherited patterns.
Through her therapy work, Hannah has uncovered the power of the family and its ability to keep individuals, couples, and family members trapped in unhealthy patterns. Hannah has worked with diverse populations and treatment plans from crisis management in the family system to couple's therapy, individual therapy, and sex therapy. Since Hannah sees the world as a system, with connecting parts moving in circular motions, she focuses on her clients' accountability when fueling certain cycles in relationships. Hannah challenges her clients to consider their roles in society along with how their role in the family may have lead them in the world. Watching clients absorb therapy and return with new awareness is the reason Hannah strives for authenticity. She believes if the client is going to be raw and vulnerable, then the therapist should share that side as well. Hannah's development of becoming an unfiltered therapist is linked to the populations she has served and the topics uncovered such as men/toxic masculinity, suicide/ self harm, racism/ racial injustice/ white supremacy, sexuality, grief/loss, and so much more! There is not a topic Hannah is afraid to uncover, so come take a seat in her office whether it is in person or online!
