Helen Parker Fucci

Dr. Helen Parker Fucci is a Psychologist located in Medford, MA specializing in supporting children, adolescents, and young adults through various relational, behavioral, and emotional challenges—including anxiety, Attention Deficit Hyperactivity Disorder (ADHD), low self-esteem or confidence issues, behavioral concerns, and adjustment issues. Dr. Fucci also provides coaching services to parents, in which she incorporates techniques like goal setting and tracking progress to help clients navigate the anxiety and stress that can arise with parenting or family conflict. 

Using an approach based on curiosity, creativity, and problem solving, Dr. Fucci works with her clients to find realistic and long-lasting solutions to their problems. In sessions, she most often incorporates aspects of Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), a therapy modality that reduces the negative self-talk that results in low self-esteem and low self-worth. Dr. Fucci also integrates aspects of Dialectical-Behavioral Therapy (DBT) and Client-Centered therapeutic approaches into her work in order to adjust her sessions to the age and developmental stage of each one of her clients. 

Dr. Fucci’s ultimate goal is to create a warm and non-judgmental environment that allows people to heal, grow, and thrive. To this end, she offers free 15-minute consultations during which potential clients can determine if working together would be a good fit for their therapy goals.
