Dr. I-Ching Grace Hung is a bilingual psychologist licensed in CA, NY, & MI, specializing in providing virtual sessions for therapy, life coaching, and executive coaching to individuals or couples striving to build a confident sense of "self" and find meaning and fulfillment in life, whether in personal growth, relationships, or career.
To explore the big questions of "Who am I, what do I believe in, and how can I live the life I want," Dr. Hung marries the wisdom of Buddhist philosophy and practices with the science of psychology to deepen clients' self-awareness and exploration. She also uses a multiculturally sensitive lens to identify how our environments may have shaped our beliefs, motivations, and behaviours.
Dr. Hung's approach brings a sense of calm and clarity while inspiring clients to continue in their growth, sustainably and pragmatically. Her clients often describe her as "insightful," "compassionate," "non-judgmental," and "balanced," while trusting her to share her candid observations. In addition to collaborating with clients to connect the dots and identify underlying patterns, Dr. Hung provides pointed feedback with ease and humour, as well as timely reminders and strategies.
Many clients say that sessions with Dr. Hung consistently feel productive and actionable. She is committed to supporting clients in turning insights into action, and help clients actively practice new mindsets and skills outside of session. Dr. Hung also provides supervision to other therapists to increase self-awareness and multicultural competency.
Confidential sessions are held remotely in both English & Mandarin, early mornings before 8am Eastern Time, or evenings after 4pm Pacific / 7pm Eastern, Mon-Thurs, and Sundays.
