Licensed Clinical Social Worker Associate, LCSW-A Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsJamia Geddie, or preferably Mia, is based out of Charlotte, NC and offers sessions to anyone virtually in the state of North Carolina. She received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with an Associate's in Human Services from the University of Central Florida and her Master's in Social Work from the University of North Carolina-Charlotte.
Mia has experience with counseling individuals experiencing various disorders such as depression, anxiety, PTSD-related issues, and adjustment disorder. Mia has worked in crisis youth facilities during her studies, provided therapy to youth in the school system, and psychotherapy to adults (18+). Mia has facilitated psycho-educational groups, individual therapy, and family therapy to help individuals cope with their mental health-related concerns.
Mia provides virtual therapy at this time with the majority availability in the evenings and on weekends.
