Jennifer Pugh is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) serving individuals and couples throughout Massachusetts. Jennifer has expertise in treating depression, anxiety, mood disorders, and acute distress resulting from life transitions, relationship issues, and impactful life events. Jennifer promotes the creation of meaningful change and lasting psychological growth by providing all clients regardless of identity, background, or circumstance with a supportive, nonjudgmental environment. Trained in several cognitive-behavioral and psychodynamic approaches, Jennifer specializes in both short- and long- term treatment interventions. Her treatment also is highly individualized to ensure that each client receives tailored care to best meet their needs. For short-term therapy, Jennifer focuses on collaborative coping strategy development and active treatment engagement to effectively target client-identified goals. For long-term therapy, Jennifer and her clients engage in exploratory work to develop deeper insights, greater self-awareness and a strengthened sense of self.

Jennifer earned her Master of Social Work degree from Boston College and maintains a lifelong commitment to continuing education to further her expertise in support of her clients. She has experience in working in both inpatient and outpatient settings and is passionate about providing culturally competent mental health treatment. When Jennifer is not engaged in her full-time private practice, she is teaching clinical courses at Boston College and is leading resiliency workshops across the country.
