Professional statement

Dr. Jonathan Wilson is a Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist with a Doctorate in Marriage and Family Therapy. Dr. Wilson works with individuals and couples across a wide range of ages. He often supports those who struggle with intense anxiety and stress. They might find it difficult to find or maintain healthy relationships with others, instead relying on addictions to either numb their emotions or to feel something other than a deep void. These clients often experience shame or guilt, which can become quite distressing.

Dr. Wilson’s approach to therapy brings together attachment-based therapies with cognitive-behavioral techniques. Clients learn how to better cope with difficult emotions and how to use introspection to understand what’s happening internally for themselves. With couples, Dr. Wilson encourages clients to place greater emphasis on emotional depth and offers them a non-judgmental space to heal.

Dr. Wilson’s goal is to help his clients find balanced, meaningful lives. He understands that life comes with its challenges and that people reach out for help when they aren’t sure how to move forward. With his empathetic style and engaging nature, he helps clients turn their lives around and work towards a state of balance and well-being.

Message to clients

You’re feeling like a complete failure—overwhelmed and drowning in anxiety and stress. Your relationship is on the rocks, you’re turning to alcohol, porn, or affairs to cope, and it’s all spiraling out of control. Guilt and shame are eating you alive, and it feels like you’re suffocating. Balancing work, life, and relationships seems impossible. Therapy isn’t just for the mentally ill - normal people need help too. I’m here to guide you through this shitstorm and help you find balance and peace.

Imagine taking control. Picture reconnecting with your partner, sleeping soundly without needing a drink, and enjoying life again. Better health, better sleep, and a stronger relationship are within reach. You don’t have to keep struggling alone—therapy can help you get there faster than you think. It’s time to stop surviving and start thriving.

I’m Dr. Jonathan Wilson LMFT-S, and I know what it’s like to be burnt out and overwhelmed. My no-BS approach is designed to help you turn your life around. Whether you’re dealing with anxiety, stress, or relationship issues (all types – monogamous, non-monogamous, LGBTQIA+ – are welcome), I use clinically effective methods to help you heal faster.
