Professional statement

As a Associate Clinical Social Worker (ACSW), I am committed to providing compassionate and evidence-based therapy to individuals within the age range of 18 to 40. My therapeutic approach is integrative, drawing from Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Internal Family Systems (IFS), Gottman Method, and Psychodynamic modalities. I believe in empowering my clients to foster positive change and cultivate a more hopeful outlook on life.

Throughout our therapeutic journey, my primary goal is to create a safe and non-judgmental space where you can explore your thoughts, emotions, and experiences. I strive to understand your unique needs, challenges, and aspirations to tailor our sessions accordingly.

Incorporating elements of Cognitive-Behavioral Therapy, we will collaboratively work to identify and challenge negative thought patterns and behaviors that may be holding you back from achieving your desired goals. This approach allows us to develop practical strategies to overcome obstacles and foster personal growth.

Message to clients

Most people need to have a support system that can help them to shoulder the many pains in life, but sometimes there are those particular thoughts or emotions that might just feel wrong to share with one of your loved ones. Or maybe your loved ones have a lot of difficulty listening and caring because of the struggles that they have. This is one of the benefits of having someone outside your system to support you without any biases or prior history.

I believe that everyone has the capacity for growth and resilience, and my role as your therapist is to support you in discovering and harnessing your inherent strengths. Together, we will work towards unlocking your potential for positive change and a more fulfilling life.

Throughout our sessions, I aim to help you reflect on the progress you've made and reinforce the skills you've acquired. My ultimate objective is to promote your sense of empowerment and self-awareness, enabling you to transition out of therapy with increased confidence and hope for your future.
