Message to clients

I have worked with individuals, couples and families as a licensed Marriage and Family Therapist since 2007. My approach is curious, reflective, skills based and evidence informed. I hold a nonjudgmental and authentic stance. Everyone's life experience and reason for reaching out for therapy is different so my tool kit has become quite eclectic over time but what has never changed is my belief in the therapeutic potential inherent in spending time with a caring and attuned person.

I work from a humanistic orientation, supporting clients in setting and obtaining their personal, value centered goals. I have extensive training and experience with Dialectical Behavioral Therapy, which focuses on the development of mindfulness skills, distress tolerance, emotion regulation, and interpersonal effectiveness. My work supports individuals, couples and families through difficult transitions and getting unstuck from unhealthy patterns. I also support folks looking to improve their executive functioning and live a life more aligned with their intentions. My approach bridges traditional psychotherapy with coaching practices as I've found over the years clients often find value in emotional support as well as practical and pragmatic assistance.

I welcome you to reach out if you are interested in learning more about me and how I can support you in reaching your goals.
