Kerry Green is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker in both New York and Florida. She began her career working with children and families involved in child welfare, which is where her passion for understanding the deep impacts of trauma was sparked. Now, Kerry specializes in helping women navigate through trauma, anxiety, relationship and dating challenges, parenting struggles, body image, low self-esteem, depression, lack of confidence and other life stressors. She helps clients identify negative thoughts and limiting beliefs that are getting in the way of living a fulfilled life free from self-doubt, self-criticism, shame, guilt and worry.
Kerry is certified in Trauma Focused - Cognitive Behavioral Therapy. She will often draw from this approach and other evidence based models including Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Neuroscience Informed Treatment of Anxiety, Worry and Panic, Psychosomatic Therapy, Mindfulness Therapy, Strengths Based and Solution focused techniques. She has a passion for helping clients understand how their thoughts, feelings, behaviors and past experiences are all connected and will create a roadmap for change.
