Kim Snapper is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker (LICSW) in Massachusetts as well as an Executive and Life Coach. Many of Kim’s clients are navigating various life situations from social anxiety, depression, personal and family challenges, life or career transitions to managing the stressors of life. Kim is particularly passionate about working with people who are trying to live fulfilling lives in the face of childhood and adult trauma.
Kim is trained in several modalities, which include Eye-Movement Desensitization Therapy (EMDR) which is a type of psychotherapy that enables people to heal from the symptoms and emotional distress of disturbing life experiences and trauma- whether that is from childhood or adulthood. EMDR has been proven to help resolve various symptoms by reprocessing disturbing events, memories, thoughts and feelings so that they no longer have an impact on one’s well being.

Kim received her MSW from the University of Pennsylvania. She is a Level 2 AEDP therapist (Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy) and is trained in Internal Family Systems (IFS) and. Kim has a growth mindset and outside of her private practice, she is often in trainings and immersed in therapeutic books and literature.
