Professional statement

Kristi is passionate about providing a safe, accepting, and understanding space to help you navigate, heal, and grow through the struggles of life. Once you’ve identified what you want to get out of therapy, she enjoys taking an insight-oriented approach to explore and understand the dynamics, experiences, and patterns that have led to you to the present moment, combined with skills-based approaches (DBT, CBT, ACT) to equip you with the tools useful to live a valued, meaningful life. You will partner and collaborate every step of the way so that you don’t feel like you’re going it alone.

Message to clients

Kristi's education and clinical experience uniquely poise me to help adolescents, young adults, adults, and families struggling with anxiety and OCD, trauma and PTSD/C-PTSD, depressive and mood disorders, and the mental, emotional, and familial impacts of illness, disability, and loss. She offers telehealth therapy so that you can feel comfortable in your own space during sessions. Kristi is trustworthy, honest, and genuine and tries her hardest to make sure you feel truly seen and accepted. Kristi will also challenge you and hold you accountable in ways that are compassionate and helpful.

Clients will work together with Kristi to find the balance between structured sessions and client-led. Some sessions will be more structured and directive with certain client presentations (e.g. those with anxiety, OCD, and high levels of depression). Kristi maintains that she will be curious and present throughout all sessions, so that she can create the unique treatment that is needed for an individual.
