Professional statement

Lauren Ludlow is a somatic therapist and life coach based in California who specializes in serving clients who are struggling with anxiety, trauma, and relationship issues and who want to build lives of alignment, ease, and connection.

Lauren works with clients who find themselves so wrapped up in obligations, the needs of others, and the quick pace of life that it can feel like their life isn't even their own anymore. Lauren supports clients in processing and healing the trauma that is at the root of these patterns, clarifying their values and priorities for their life and relationships, and in discovering the practices and tools they can start to use immediately to create new, life-giving patterns.

Lauren is a compassionate therapist who focuses on creating an affirming space for clients where they can explore mind-body practices to transform trauma, mindfulness for becoming more present and engaged in their life and relationship, Internal Family Systems/ parts-work so that they can understand their relationships with themselves and others and build deeper and more supporting connections, clarifying their core values, and build an intentional vision for their life and/or relationship. Lauren supports clients in learning to live, connect, love, rest and pursue meaningful goals unapologetically.

Lauren provides virtual therapy and life coaching to client's throughout California and Texas.

Message to clients

When you are the person that everyone goes to for support, it is important to have a space where you can be honest about your needs, reconnect with yourself, and center your values and your priorities.

My purpose is to help you to get clear on what a fulfilling life means for you whether that is centered around slowing down and being more present, finding ways to connect deeply with friends or a partner, integrating fun and enjoyment, focusing in on career goals, or healthy boundaries. I am an active and engaged therapist meaning that I don't just listen as you vent. I ask questions, point out potential patterns, invite you to try new practices, and invite you to consider insights you may have never thought of before.

A session with me can look like exploring mind-body practices or using EMDR to transform trauma, exploring mindfulness, communicating through conflict with your partner in way that build connection, figuring out ways to engage in rest or take that vacation without guilt, or learning how you and your partner can connect on a deeper level and bring emotional intimacy back into your relationship. I am an affirming therapist which means I am committed to creating a safe space for clients who identify as BIPOC, LGBTQIA+, or others who fear not being fully accepted in therapy.

My greatest joy come from know that new patterns I've supported a client to develop patterns that support thriving for a lifetime!
