Mary Beth McGuinn is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker located in Ramsey, NJ. Mary Beth specializes in helping individuals who suffer from the emotional and physical impacts of anxiety, depression, and other mental health concerns. Many of her clients go throughout their daily routines feeling disengaged, disconnected, and unfulfillned. Often, they find themselves worried that they aren’t living the life that they want to live. Mary Beth helps her clients refocus their lives towards their values, so that they can find peace and balance.

Mary Beth integrates multiple evidence-based therapy modalities with her clients, depending on their needs. She draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Emotional Freedom Technique with tapping, grief recovery, and psychodynamic therapy approaches. Clients learn how to manage their emotions through the use of perspective-taking, self-awareness, and coping skills. Her goal is to stoke a sense of hope within the lives of her clients, so that they feel empowered to take charge in their lives and make healthy changes.

Mary Beth earned her Master’s degree in Social Work from Adelphi University. She has over 20 years of experience supporting clients in their mental health. She coaches clients through goal-making exercises and helps them navigate each step along the way towards the life they want to live.
