Master of Arts (MA) - Clinical Mental Health CounselingMelanie serves teens and adults who are anxious, over-achieving, and grieving. Her background as an educator comes shows in the way she is able to help clients make sense of confusing and challenging emotions and experiences. Melanie has experience speaking at conferences on grief and trauma in Florida and abroad, as well as facilitating support groups over the last ten years.
Melanie's approach is flexible and easy going in which she is able to help client's identify themes and patterns in their challenges so they can learn practical steps and mindfulness skills to decrease anxiety and discouragement. You can count on Melanie to bring a kind, goofy, yet professional perspective to private practice.

Sexual harassment & assault - Caring support along the pathway to safety, wellbeing, and healing for survivors of sexual abuse and assault
Trauma - Coping and healing after threatening or scary events, such as witnessing accidents or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse
