Professional statement

I’m a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker, serving Rhide Island and Massachusetts, with over 10 years of experience across a variety of mental health settings including Butler Hospital and Rhode Island Hospital. My passion is therapy and I’ve spent the past 6 years helping individuals to navigate life’s stressors and unlock the best version of themselves. I specialize in treating adults experiencing depression, anxiety, men’s issues, compassion fatigue, and major life transitions.

My work is rooted in evidence-based practices which include Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Motivational Interviewing. My education includes a Bachelor’s in Social Work from Providence College and a Masters in Social Work from Rhode Island College.

I pride myself on letting you decide which issues are most important while providing some guidance to find your own answers.

Message to clients

I love working with clients who are motivated, willing to learn, and ready to challenge themselves!

Prior to attending your first appointment, please complete intake paperwork through the patient portal via TherapyNotes. I will send you these forms via an email link. Completion of these forms is required before initial appointment. Failure to complete will result in delay of initial appointment. This will allow the first session to be devoted entirely to your clinical needs.

I am currently running a 100% teletherapy practice to individuals residing in the State of Rhode Island.

I am an Independent Clinical Social Worker in the state of Rhode Island and have no ability to prescribe or refill medications.
