Welcome to the practices of Natalie Van Note and In Sight Counseling Connections and High Conflict Divorce Coach, LLC. Ms. Van Note has been LPC) and a Child & Family Investigator, Mediator, Parental Supervisor, and Co-Parenting Teacher.
Ms. Van Note treats clients using evidence-based therapies (meaning they are proven through studies to work.) She focuses heavily on behavioral work with clients, as she believes that if clients can DO something different to respond skillfully to a problem, then it is easier for them to think about the problem differently.
For example, Ms. Van Note treats adults and adolescents with ADHD and works with them on medication management as well as academic and job coaching. She also has a long history of working with people who have difficult-to-treat bipolar disorder, OCD, and panic disorder using primarily behavioral techniques. Additionally, she has focused much of her post-graduate studies on personality disorders such as Borderline Personality Disorder and Narcissism.
In addition to seeing clients in therapy at In Sight Counseling, she is a busy contributor to the Family Law sector as a High Conflict Divorce Coach. She works with people who are either going through divorce or are post-divorce and are the persons who had the rug pulled out from under them because their ex-spouses were narcissistic. She utilizes many evidence-based techniques in this field and is in the process of researching better ways of reuniting children with their excluded parents during a divorce. And, if a client and his/her Ex need co-parenting counseling, she offers that as well.
Ms. Van Note's office is located in beautiful Littleton,Colorado. She also offers remote sessions (virtual sessions) so that clients may also elect to attend sessions from the comfort of their homes. This also allows her to offer sessions later in the evening as needed (by appointment only.)
