Message to clients

The start of a relationship can be overwhelming and frightening; finding the right therapist is no different. At the same time, the beginning of a relationship is also an incredible opportunity; again this is very true of beginning to work with therapist! Rarely in life do you enter a relationship with the expectation that you will need to be vulnerable or that you will be able to explore the dynamics of how you interact with the other person directly and frankly. Clients who are interested in exploring these dynamics or in learning strategies to cope with the challenges of day-to-day life are the ones who benefit most from my therapeutic approach.

My warm, empathetic presence is central to all my therapeutic work and am excited to get to know each person who I meet with. I value cultural humility; you are the expert on your experiences. I am hopeful that you reach out to set up a consultation and determine if my practice is a good fit for you!
