Professional statement

Nichole Moorman is trained as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker, EMDR trained, Qualified Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction Teacher, with a private practice based out of Ridgway, CO specializing in helping those struggling with burnout, anxiety, anger, stress, and mood issues. She is also working toward licensure to practice as a therapist in OH. Nichole offers digital resources, in person and telehealth groups, programs, and individual sessions.

She has been learning and teaching Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT) for the last twelve years, participates in ongoing training in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR), and over the last nine years has engaged in the rigorous training required to earn certification as a Mindfulness Based Stress Reduction (MBSR)Teacher via Brown University. She works best with big-hearted, hard working men and women who have a secret desire to heal and grow so they can show up fully in their families, with friends, and in their communities. She helps individuals to quickly uncover internal resources and gently untangle sources of stress using a tailored combination of DBT, EMDR, and MBSR interventions.

Nichole’s extensive training, deep presence, and calming spirit infuse all of her offerings- digital resources, Mindfulness and Resilience programs, retreats, and 1:1 sessions. She invites you to take your next small (ahem, hardest) step to peace, confidence, and feeling like yourself again (or for the very first time).
