Professional statement

Nicole is a licensed therapist and the co-founder of Arboris Counseling Collective, offering online therapy to clients all across California. She specializes in working with people navigating ADHD, and she is especially passionate about supporting women who were diagnosed later in life. Many of Nicole’s clients are successful, capable women who have spent years quietly struggling with overwhelm, burnout, or a constant feeling of being disorganized. She provides a safe, welcoming space where they can finally understand why their brains work the way they do, let go of old self-doubt, and learn to embrace their unique strengths.

In her practice, Nicole doesn't believe in rigid, one-size-fits-all advice. Instead, she works side-by-side with her clients to figure out what actually works for their real, daily lives. She helps clients sort through the chaos of everyday stress, manage anxiety, and create gentle, practical habits that bring a sense of calm and control. Her goal is to help clients stop feeling like they are constantly falling behind, so they can start living with more self-confidence and peace of mind.

Former clients often describe Nicole as warm, easy to talk to, and genuinely enthusiastic about her work. Her style is conversational and collaborative—she treats therapy like a true partnership where you are the expert on your own life. She works hard to make sure the virtual space feels comfortable and entirely free of judgment, allowing you to show up exactly as you are.

Because her practice is completely virtual, Nicole brings high-quality care right to your home, making it easy to fit therapy into a busy schedule. If you are ready to take the next step and see if Nicole is the right fit for you, you can easily book a free consultation through the Arboris Counseling Collective website or send a message through Zencare.

Message to clients

If you're arriving here feeling overwhelmed, exhausted from trying to keep it all together, or wondering why things seem harder for you than everyone else—you're in the right place. I personally have ADHD, so I know firsthand what it feels like to do "well enough" to get by on the outside, while secretly feeling like you aren't thriving the way others seem to be. Starting therapy can feel incredibly vulnerable, especially if you've spent a lifetime masking your struggles. My biggest goal for our first session is simply for you to take a deep breath and realize you don’t have to carry this alone anymore.

Before we get started, I want you to know there's no "right way" to do therapy with me. You don’t need to have a perfect timeline prepared, and you don’t need to look or sound a certain way. Because we meet online, you can show up from your favorite cozy spot, in your comfiest clothes, with your messy thoughts exactly as they are. My space is entirely free of judgment.

My ultimate hope is that you stop fighting against how your brain is wired and start working with it. Because I've been there, I'm deeply committed to helping you let go of the old shame and self-doubt that comes with a late-in-life ADHD diagnosis, replacing it with genuine self-compassion and practical, real-world tools.
