Message to clients

Whether you are beginning therapy for the first time or continuing therapy, I am here to help you with your journey in life. I practice client centered therapy; which means that we work together to design the therapy around your wants and needs. My goal is to listen to you and understand where you are coming from and try to help you with any difficulties you encounter. Sometimes we discover that we grew up in a dysfunctional family or find ourselves in a dysfunctional relationship. When this happens even the most sane of us learn maladaptive coping techniques which often do not serve us as we grow older. I help you look at what you may be doing and explore different ways to alter your viewpoint so that you can change your behavior. This isn't always easy and I make observations to help you come to your own conclusions.
