Licensed Creative Arts Therapist, LCAT Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsRebecca Rodas is a creative arts therapist experienced in working with a diverse range of clients. Her specialties include trauma, LGBTQ+ identity exploration, anxiety, depression, non-monogamous relationships, and creativity. She is passionate about using art therapy to help people heal from trauma, express themselves creatively, explore emotions, and cope with grief. Rebecca also has experience working with clients with a variety of other mental health concerns, such as eating disorders, body image issues, and substance abuse.
In her work, Rebecca uses a variety of techniques, including cognitive-behavioral therapy, mindfulness, psychodynamic therapy, and each session is tailored to the individual needs of each client. Rebecca believes that art therapy is a powerful tool for healing and transformation. Art can help people to access their emotions, process difficult experiences, and develop coping skills. It can also be a way to express oneself creatively and connect with others. No art experience or art-making is required.
Rebecca is a warm, empathic, and non-judgmental therapist. She believes that a safe and supportive environment is essential for healing. She is also a firm believer in the power of humor and play. Rebecca is committed to working with clients from all backgrounds and experiences, especially those from marginalized communities. She is particularly passionate about empowering Hispanic/Latine people and creating a safe space for them to be their authentic selves.
