Professional statement

Rebecca Rugh-Webb is a Psychologist located in Winston Salem, NC. Rebecca works with children, teenagers, young adults, and adults. She helps clients manage their emotions, including complex emotions like shame, anxiety, and anger. These feelings often come from drives like perfectionism or low self-esteem. Rebeeca is passionate about working with those who are neurodivergent, as she sees her own ADHD as a quirk that can be optimized and embraced.

Rebecca combines clinical psychological practice with art, herbalism, and other holistic healing techniques. She calls herself an “intuitive artologist,” and is passionate about bringing together evidence-based therapy practices and her own intuition to provide clients with the care they need to heal. Clients benefit from physical, spiritual, and emotional care, as Rebecca offers clients a comprehensive and unique approach to mental health. She takes a strengths-based approach to her work with clients, helping them internalize positivity about their unique traits. She believes that all individuals are resilient, and brings her non judgmental and empathetic nature to every session.

Rebecca earned a specialist degree from Sam Houston State University and her Bachlor's in Science from The Ohio State Univeristy. Her goal is to help clients move towards feelings of self-love, embracing the authentic self and re-aligning the nervous system to a more natural state.

Message to clients

I named my practice Brighter Days in the middle of a pandemic to remind people not to lose hope. I was not always an optimist but with age and experience I was able to shift myself to a better state of mind. I would love to support you on your journey to overall well-being. Although I learned many things while studying and practicing psychology, my areas of expertise were developed due to my children's neurodiversities and also what I later realized was undiagnosed ADHD in myself. My family does not respond to conventional techniques which required me to think outside the box.

My soul aligned clients are at a place where they are ready to heal generational and personality patterns all while learning about themselves as an energetic and spiritual being. If regular talk therapy is not effective for you then you are exactly where you are meant to be. I love doing deep work while having fun creating beautiful art with my clients and listening to music. Sometimes you just need to laugh at what the universe is throwing at you, in between periods of releasing the anger and sadness. I would love to work together so I can help guide you towards the path of well-being. I am here to support your growth and transformation. In this non-judgemental container I have created, full of love and acceptance, you will be able to do the work of healing and shifting your life.
