Professional statement

Tristin Victor is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker based in Menifee, Ca, who works with individuals across the lifespan, focusing on individuals 18-64. She identifies as a Mind Body Based therapist and utilizes a combination of holistic approaches and insight-oriented therapies to help clients become one with themselves, mind, body, and soul. Many clients sense that "something is missing," and they are actively searching to feel connected in their relationships or at peace in their daily lives. Tristin is particularly sensitive to clients who need safety and connection and believes most people in therapy are in because of the people in their lives who refuse to go to therapy.

As a veteran herself,Tristin has worked with combat vets and others who have experienced trauma. Tristin believes that the body holds memories, emotions, and sensations. As such, it can be impactful to understand the body through the sensations while allowing space for the nervous system to regulate. She works to help clients understand their physical response to external stressors so that they can begin to problem-solve ways to introduce their true selves to the current situation they are facing.

Tristin focuses on ensuring that her clients see progress: her style is client-centered and non-judgmental, and she positions clients as the experts on where they are now and where they want to go. A trauma-informed therapist, Tristin is sensitive to the influence of past experiences on present challenges and works closely with clients to reframe the narrative of their life in a way that increases self-confidence and compassion.

Tristin's prioritizes that a clients feel safe, seen, and like an equal partner in the therapeutic process. As a telehealth provider, she offers the convenience of remote sessions to help make therapy a core component of your self-care routine.

Message to clients

As a Therapist, I value most the human experience and the variety of challenges it can bring. My ultimate goal is for you, the client, to become curious about your internal landscape and know that you are the expert in your life. My role is a helper to assist you along the journey of growth, healing, and acceptance while using eclectic treatment modalities.
