Adloquium Psychological Services is a therapy practice located in Baltimore, MD founded on the belief that therapy should be modern and accessible. They provide expert mental health services for young adults and adults who want to make meaningful, lasting change in their lives. They not only want to reduce their mental health symptoms but also increase the amount of joy and positivity they experience on a daily basis. They might face challenges like depression, anxiety, addiction, difficulty finding meaning, or the stress of a difficult job or academic course.
The therapists at Adloquium Psychological Services adjust their therapy approaches depending on their clients. For some clients, elements of gaming are involved in the healing process or as a way of self-exploration. For other clients, therapists apply an existential-humanist lens so there can be robust conversation about the larger questions in life about purpose and fulfillment. In this way, therapy at Adloquium Psychological Services is seen as creative and flexible. The therapists also use more traditional therapy modalities like Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and mindfulness practices.
Adloquium Psychological Services value each client’s individual story. They believe that prioritizing mental health and well-being can have a major impact on one’s life, and advocate that their clients take time for self-exploration and personal growth, especially in the pursuit of reduced symptoms.
Our providers are here to provide services with low barriers to entry, use technology and are based on the most current psychological training. All of our clinicians are trained generalists with their unique specialties and areas of interest. Each has the same training level and is educated to the same standard. Our clinical focus is on making meaningful changes for our clients while making therapy as easy as possible. Therapy on your terms, whatever that means for you.
We currently offer individual and group therapy services. Our clinicians work for many different theories and we offer a variety of services within this modality. Current group offerings include Koru Mindfulness training and Dungeons and Dragons-based group therapy.
Therapists at Adloquium specialize in areas such as depression, anxiety, and trauma, among many others. We also have clinicians with specialties such as therapeutic gaming, psychology of athletes, and meditation training. We are especially interested in working with clients who are therapy interested but have perhaps had a difficult time getting started or persisting in treatment.
