Message to clients

If you are thinking about calling a dietitian to come for a visit, I would say to not be worried or scared. I’m very open, non-judgmental, fun, humorous, and very easy to talk to. I love working and I love having visits with clients. I’ve done a lot of work with college students and adolescents with eating disorders and have a lot of experience with this, so I'm ready for you!

Professional endorsements

"Courtney has extensive experience and expertise in providing high quality nutrition therapy, addressing a multitude of complicated health concerns. However, one’s knowledge of a specific health concern is irrelevant if they cannot effectively engage individuals, coaching them to make healthy lifestyle changes. Courtney’s easygoing, non-judgmental approach will immediately put a new client at ease, which is so important when talking about sensitive health issues. She takes the time to truly get to know her clients, and in doing so is able to find the approach that best works for them. She will not simply tell a client what they should do; she will work with that person to help set healthy goals, and find a path to achieving those goals."

- Tracy Bergeron, RD, CSSD • February 2016

"I worked with Courtney for many years at Hasbro Children’s Hospital. She is an excellent pediatric and adult dietitian. She has many years of experience working with with very complicated populations such as Eating Disorder and Pediatric Intensive Care Unit (PICU) patients."

- Stephanie M. Marchand, PhD, RD • December 2019

"I would absolutely recommend Courtney. She was especially qualified in feeding evaluations and interventions with children age birth to three and their caregivers. She was an excellent team member and was able to work well with other disciplines on the feeding team, including OT, speech pathology and psychology. Courtney was able to research and implement protocols for purée by G tube diets, which were developed at Cincinnati Children’s Hospital. She often worked on the formulas and talked with parents for trouble shooting after work hours. Courtney is a very conscientious and dedicated worker. She was well liked by all staff members in our program."

- Patricia Gricus, occupational therapist • December 2019

Client testimonials

"I would recommend Nutritionist Huard because she is an absolute breath of fresh air to be around. When I expressed to her my body image issues, my eating habits that troubled me, and whether or not I thought my workout regiment was too much, she tackled each concern with detail and guided me towards the right path of a healthier and happier mindset. I wouldn’t be able to enjoy my life and be happy in my own skin today if it wasn’t for her."
