Message to clients

I encourage and applaud the self-awareness it takes to realize we can change. We can heal, we can grow. Using a holistic (eclectic) approach, I am here to promote autonomy, peace, acceptance, love, healing, and change. My passion lies in serving the underserved, the over-diagnosed, misunderstood, unheard, and ignored. Racial disparities, racism, isolation, extreme poverty, substance abuse, the criminal justice and correctional systems; stigmas against women, recovery, and the criminalization of addiction and mental illness are only a few of the areas I will work tirelessly to change.

If you have been affected by these man-made disasters, I will work collaboratively with you using biopsychosocial evidence and solution-based approaches to help you overcome the traumas, identify the need, and learn to change the behaviors. More importantly, I want to teach you how to heal yourself. Together we will break the cycle.

First generation immigrants and their children: Together we can navigate the challenges of assimilation and acculturation, as well as the various cultural perspective(s) on treatment, mental illness, and SUD.

Couples: I am LGBTQ affirming. I can help you navigate concerns around biracial and blended families, and foster families.

Relationships: Let's work on communication, boundaries, maintaining, restoring, identifying independence and unity.

I can help you work through Trauma; Childhood trauma, Acute and complex PTSD, Adjustments, Acute Stress.
