Brian Thomason works with clients of all ages and populations. His advanced training and experience is working as a pediatric psychotherapist, specializing in children with anxieties and attachment disorders. Brian also has advanced training and experience working with couples, or individuals with an emphasis on relationships, acquiring or healing. In addition to educating and developing sound communication techniques, Brian places an emphasis on awareness towards the emotional and thought processes that occur during conflict or anxiety. In working with parents and couples the emphasis is not only on gaining self awareness but also awareness for the child or partner. Brian has extensive training and experience in working with individuals that are considered neurodivergent, OCD, ADHD, and individuals on the Autism spectrum as examples.
Brian Thomason has a unique background which includes extensive education and experience in the fields of mental health (emotional) and physical health. Brian has a M.S. in Exercise Physiology, working with young athletes for many years as a coach and fitness professional. Brian has a M.S. in Clinical Psychology and is a Licensed Marriage & Family Therapist.
