Professional statement

Brooke is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW) with over a decade of clinical experience treating pregnant and parenting families, couples, and individuals experiencing identity shifts in their lives (young adults, new parents, etc.). She is well versed in working with people navigating changes in their life, specifically around family planning and care (fertility, pregnancy, parenting), and want help managing stress, anxieties, depression, and fears related to these life changes. Her work centers on the mental health of pregnant and postpartum people and their families. Psychologically, the perinatal period is a time of tremendous opportunity for growth, reflection, and repair; it can also bring unanticipated emotional experiences that can feel isolating and uncomfortable. Brooke's compassionate expertise help you move through life's transitions with more clarity and ease.

Brooke specializes in helping clients understand generational relationship patterns and identify ways to work with previous experiences to gain insight and live a fully integrated and realized life. She offers expertise in treating perinatal mood and anxiety, trauma, attachment issues, relationship difficulties, family conflict, depression and anxiety symptoms. There are times we could all benefit from a safe, honest, and nonjudgmental space to process our experiences but finding a therapist can be at best daunting and at worst discouraging. Brooke's primary goal is to build a warm, collaborative relationship together designed to foster clarity and help you go forward as more fully realized human.

At this time, all sessions are held remotely via HIPPA compliant Zoom.

Message to clients

There are times we could all benefit from a safe, honest, and nonjudgmental space to process our experiences but finding a therapist can be at best daunting and at worst discouraging. I specialize in helping clients understand generational relationship patterns and identify ways to work with previous experiences to gain insight and live a fully integrated and realized life. My primary goal is to build a warm, collaborative relationship together designed to foster clarity and help you go forward as more fully realized human.

My work is rooted in attachment theory and it's application over the lifespan. For patients who are open to it, I like to administer the Adult Attachment Interview at the outset of treatment as it can be revelatory and help the frame the goals of our work together. Psychologically, the perinatal period is a time of tremendous opportunity for growth, reflection, and repair. It can also bring unanticipated emotional experiences that can feel isolating and uncomfortable. My clients are looking for ways to move through pregnancy and parenthood with more confidence and ease.
