Candace adopts an understanding and strengths-based approach to her work with clients. Understanding the difficulty that can come with pursuing mental health treatment, Candace strives to create an environment of acceptance and comfort for her clients as they take their journey towards improved wellbeing. Her practice incorporates Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) tactics to help her clients recognize and counter unhealthy thoughts and thoughts which limit self-confidence. In addition, she educates her clients on communication and problem-solving techniques, assisting them in developing skills to strengthen their personal relationships.

Candace is passionate about helping the people she works with reach their goals and bring about positive change in their lives. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling and Human Systems from Florida State University and is an active partner and collaborator in her clients’ healing processes. Candace instills her clients with warmth and encouragement as they work toward personal growth.

My practice offers personalized therapies tailored to each client’s unique situation. My therapies and treatment methods include both traditional and evidence-based techniques, such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT), and Motivational Interviewing. These evidence-based therapies can help you develop effective coping techniques and strategies to help manage anxiety, build confidence, and establish healthier relationships.

I also offer in-depth goal-setting sessions to ensure you can successfully establish and maintain the changes you are striving for, and give you the necessary tools to create a happier life.
