Professional statement

Carly works with children, adolescents, young adults, and families who may be navigating a range of emotional and behavioral challenges. Her clientele often includes individuals experiencing anxiety, depression, trauma, and difficulties related to life transitions or family dynamics. Carly approaches each case with the understanding that seeking support—whether for oneself or a child—can feel overwhelming, and she strives to create a space where clients feel supported, understood, and not alone in the process.

Her therapeutic approach is integrative and tailored to the unique needs of each client. Carly combines psychodynamic, attachment-based, and relational frameworks with skills-based modalities such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). She places strong emphasis on building a trusting, collaborative relationship, recognizing that therapy is not one-size-fits-all. Through this work, Carly helps clients explore relational patterns, process past experiences, and develop healthier coping strategies while fostering deeper self-awareness and stronger family connections.

Carly earned her PsyD in School-Clinical Child Psychology from the Ferkauf Graduate School of Psychology and brings valuable clinical experience from her work at the Mount Sinai Adolescent Health Center. She is committed to ongoing professional growth and continually seeks out opportunities to expand her knowledge and refine her clinical skills in order to best support her clients.

Based in New York City, Carly offers both in-person and remote therapy sessions out of both our Midtown and Flatiron offices, providing flexibility to meet the needs of busy individuals and families. She is dedicated to making therapy accessible and responsive, ensuring that clients can engage in care in a way that feels manageable and consistent within their daily lives.

Message to clients

If you’re considering therapy for yourself, your child, or your family, I want you to know that you don’t have to navigate this process alone. Reaching out can feel like a big step, and my goal is to create a space where you feel supported, understood, and comfortable from the very beginning. I work with children, adolescents, young adults, and families navigating anxiety, depression, trauma, and life transitions, and I approach each person with curiosity, compassion, and respect for their unique experiences.

My approach is collaborative, flexible, and tailored to your needs. I integrate insight-oriented work with practical, skills-based strategies, so we can both explore the deeper “why” behind your experiences and build tools to help you manage challenges in your day-to-day life. I believe that meaningful change happens within a strong therapeutic relationship, and I aim to create an environment where you feel safe to explore patterns, process past experiences, and better understand yourself and your relationships. Depending on your goals, our work together may be more short-term and solution-focused or more exploratory and long-term.

Before getting started, I often encourage a brief consultation so we can talk about what you’re looking for, answer any questions, and determine whether we feel like a good fit. My hope is that therapy becomes a space where you or your child feel heard, empowered, and more equipped to navigate life’s challenges—and if I’m not the right fit, I’m always happy to help guide you toward the support that is.
