I'm also the Founder of Feelthentic Therapy Group, PLLC a clinic that offers online therapy services to residents of New York, Florida and Puerto Rico. Having a diverse clinical and cultural background, makes my approach to therapy very inclusive and respectful of clients individual differences. My psychodynamic approach, alongside a trauma-informed framework, promotes a space to explore and understand unconscious processes that impact one’s feelings, thoughts and behaviors, rooted in past painful experiences that show up in our daily lives.
My areas of expertise include complex trauma/PTSD, immigration and Latinx psychology, and health psychology. I have extensive clinical experience in treating people impacted by different traumatic events, minoritized clinical populations providing individual, group, couples, and families.
Attachment issues - Development of effective relational and communication skills; insight into family attachment patterns;fostering healthy family relationships.
Cultural adjustment - Acclimating to a new environment; managing stress and coping with feelings of loss and separation from familiar people and places
Life transitions - Coping with difficult or impactful life changes, such as moving to a new area, relationship transitions, child rearing, or career changes; learning self-care to better manage resulting stress
Post-traumatic Stress Disorder (PTSD) - Healing painful experiences and memories from the past
Relationship issues - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating
Complex PTSD (C-PTSD) - Recovering from the impact of long-term, repeated traumatic events, such as emotional abuse and neglect
