Message to clients

Hi I'm Dr. Deb Hecker and I am delighted to meet you.  I have been in private practice for over 35 years in several major US cities.  I work with individuals and couples.  When prescribed properly, I am a big believer in psychotropic medications.  If you were to ask my clients how they would describe me, they would likely use words like "bold," "benevolent," and "loyal." I am an active collaborator in the treatment process and very direct with my clients.  It is very important to me that people understand their own development and conflicts. I answer all questions.  My clients would also say I am very kind, compassionate and a great listener.  Once I make a commitment to a client, I am easily accessible.
