Master of Science, MS - Mental Health Counseling Specialties • Insurance & Fees • LocationsElizabeth is a LPCC located in the state of Colorado. Elizabeth works with adolenscents and adults. Her practice thrives on helping over-responsible and burnt out women reclaim their joy in life. She helps women who struggle with anxiety, depression, low self-worth, and residual effects from childhood trauma. She specializes in treating hyper responsible first born daughters and adult daughters of narcissistic parents. .
Elizabeth’s approach to therapy draws from a mind-body perspective. Her sessions include conversations about how the mind and the body feel, then addressing both the emotional side of healing as well as the physical. Clients learn how to practice mindfulness, shifting their attention away from their internal dialogue and towards physical sensations. They learn how to simply exist, slowing down their thoughts and grounding themselves in the present. Elizabeth also incorporates existential therapy into her practice, encouraging clients to think about larger topics like meaning of life and spirituality. She believes that client comfortably is of the most importance. Nothing is too big, intense or shameful to bring to therapy.
Elizabeth earned a Master’s degree in Counseling from Naropa University and brings a holistic lens to working with her clients.
