Professional statement

Ellie helps adults who struggle with anxiety, overthinking, and chronic stress patterns that feel difficult to turn off—even when life appears “fine” externally.

Many of her clients are high-functioning, self-aware, and capable in many areas of life, yet internally experience racing thoughts, self-criticism, overwhelm, or a persistent sense of pressure.

In therapy, Ellie works collaboratively with clients to calm the nervous system, understand emotional and cognitive patterns, and build a greater sense of internal safety and steadiness.

Her approach is structured, collaborative, and integrative. Ellie draws from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (understanding how thoughts, emotions, and behaviors affect each other, and teaches practical tools to change unhelpful patterns.), mindfulness-based practices, and trauma-informed somatic awareness to help clients shift both thought patterns and physiological stress responses.

What to expect in your work with her:

* Learning tools to regulate anxiety and overwhelm in real time

* Identifying and reshaping unhelpful thought patterns

* Strengthening emotional awareness and self-compassion

* Developing grounding and body-based regulation skills

* Clarifying values and goals to support meaningful change

Message to clients

In our work together, I use thoughtful questions and reflective exploration to help you better understand yourself, your emotional experiences, and the patterns that may be contributing to anxiety, stress, overthinking, or self-criticism. Therapy can feel both empowering and challenging at times, especially when exploring longstanding beliefs or behaviors, and I strive to provide a supportive, nonjudgmental space throughout the process. My approach is collaborative, practical, and insight-oriented, combining emotional exploration with tools you can apply in your daily life. You’ll also receive integration assignments, coping strategies, and nervous system regulation tools designed to support continued growth and healing outside of sessions, with the overall goal of helping you feel more grounded, self-aware, and emotionally balanced.
