Greg Noel is a gregarious, charismatic, and life-loving human being who identifies as a first-generation Haitian-American Licensed Associate Marriage and Family Therapist (LAMFT). Greg enjoys the privilege of working with a diverse population of clients who identify as being Black, Indigenous, Latine, Pacific-Islander, Asian, White, gender-queer, heterosexual, neurotypical, neurodivergent, religious, non-religious, able-bodied, disabled, documented, undocumented, low socioeconomic status, and other marginalized identities.
As an LAMFT, Greg is trained in the following evidence-based practices: Emotionally-Focused Therapy (EFT), Acceptance and Commitment Therapy (ACT), and Narrative Therapy to help clients work through and heal symptoms of anxiety, depression, trauma, etc. Greg specializes in working with people who are often mistreated and judged by others due to struggling with: dysfunctional relationships, complex trauma, and gender discrimination. Greg enhances and elevates his therapeutic approach with liberated pedagogy and praxis to ensure that every client is treated with kindness, cultural humility, empathy, and compassion.
Greg completed his postgraduate studies at Utah State University from 2018-2020, where he obtained a Master's Degree in Marriage and Family. Greg currently works as a LAMFT, meaning Greg is still working on becoming a fully licensed professional. Greg practices under the supervision of J. Tekulve Jackson-Vann LMFT; the owner of Two Brothas Counseling. Greg is trained in Cognitive Processing Therapy (CPT), Gottman Level One relationship therapy, Focused Acceptance and Commitment Therapy, and a Certified Youth Mental Health First Aid Instructor.
Greg currently lives and practices in the Ogden UT area, offering both in-person and virtual therapy. The private practice that Greg works for is called Two Brothas Counseling Ogden Branch located at 2909 Washington Blvd Ogden, UT 84401. Greg typically works Monday-Thursday from 9 am-6 pm. Greg will occasionally work on Fridays but only offers virtual appointments and based on his discretion.
