Professional statement

Kaitlin Reichart is a Licensed Professional Counselor in Pennsylvania. They work with clients in early 20's across different lifespans. Many of Kaitlin's clients come in when experiencing anxiety, depression, and increase in life stressors. Kaitlin is particularly passionate about serving a variety of the population.

Kaitlin is trained in Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, an evidence-based approach. It focuses on how the way one thinks can alter behaviors and understanding the connection between thoughts and feelings and their connection to behaviors to create change. In session, Kaitlin focuses on being person-centered and teaching how stressors impact them physiologically as well as emotionally which impact choices made in life. This approach supports clients to learn ways be responsive during situations rather than reactive and manage their symptoms vs. symptoms managing them.

Kaitlin focuses on clients seeing change to the choices they are making to better themselves. Kaitlin creates an environment that is interactive and non-judgmental, with the client being the expert on how they are doing. Kaitlin is dedicated in meeting the client where they are at, understanding past experiences (ex. trauma), and present stressors impact the client. Kaitlin works closely with clients focus on strengths they have and ways to apply them, along with being able to look at things through a different lens to gain a different perspective while building their self-confidence.

Kaitlin is passionate in holding the hope for their clients when it is hard to see it for themselves. Kaitlin is dedicated in clients creating their own change through counseling and finding healthier ways to handle life stressors, dysregulation of emotions, past experiences that impact them in the present and build confidence in themselves.

Message to clients

It is important to find someone who you can talk to for an hour a week about what you want to talk about in a judge free zone. I strive to be that space for my clients at each session. I hold the hope that things can change and be better until the client is able to see it themselves. In creating goals to work towards and see how making small changes/choices can create bigger change and healthier outcome for my clients who are seeking change.

I utilize Cognitive Behavioral Therapy, Solution-focused techniques, and teach coping strategies in managing anxiety and depression. I work to highlight your strengths that are within you, as they do not disappear just because one is stressed, anxious, or depressed, they just become harder to see.

I take pride in providing quality work, therefore I keep a lower-case load, so clients are able to be seen weekly if that is their need. I enjoy seeing clients grow as they work on becoming their version of a better, healthier them.
