Professional statement

“Therapist for adult ADHD, anxiety, and burnout recovery | Evidence-based support for high-achieving professionals & creatives.”

Laura’s therapy sessions are insightful, transformative, and results-driven. Using a compassionate yet direct approach, she helps clients challenge limiting beliefs, shift negative thought patterns, and build practical skills for lasting change. She specializes in helping adults with ADHD develop time management, organizational strategies, and focus techniques to improve daily functioning.

For individuals facing addictions, Laura offers personalized relapse prevention plans and helps clients identify the root causes of addictive behaviors. She is deeply committed to creating a nonjudgmental, accepting environment where clients feel safe to explore their struggles and strengths.

In addition to ongoing therapy, I offer a short-term 3-session Reset Package for adults needing focused support around ADHD, executive functioning, anxiety, or burnout recovery. This package provides practical strategies without a long-term commitment and is available for clients in CO, OR, and WA.

Laura’s integrative approach combines Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and mindfulness-based strategies, offering structured yet flexible treatment tailored to each client’s needs. She works collaboratively with clients to develop individualized goals that support growth and emotional well-being.

With over 30 years of clinical experience, Laura has worked in diverse inpatient and outpatient settings, holding roles from Counselor to Clinical Director. She earned her Master’s degree in Counseling Psychology from the University of Denver in 1991, became licensed in Colorado in 1994, and completed a second Master’s degree in Education from Colorado State University in 2014.

Message to clients

Taking the step to seek counseling can feel overwhelming, but you don’t have to do it alone. My goal is to ensure you feel welcomed, understood, and encouraged from the very start. As a seasoned therapist, I take an integrative and collaborative approach, helping you identify and achieve the goals that matter most to you. You decide the focus of our work, and together, we explore the best strategies to help you move forward.

Through thought-provoking questions and insightful analogies, I help you gain a new perspective on your challenges, uncover solutions that work for you, and develop tools for lasting change.

To help you decide if I’m the right fit, I offer a free 20-minute phone consultation. This is your opportunity to ask about my approach, share what you’re looking for in a therapist, and discuss your goals. By the end of our conversation, we can determine if we’re a good match for this journey.

I am deeply committed to supporting you in your healing process and would be honored to walk alongside you as you work toward greater well-being and self-discovery.
