Professional statement

Lul A Haji-Mohamed is a Licensed Independent Clinical Social Worker located in Minneapolis, MN. Lul helps young adults and adults, including couples and parents, to cope with the difficult roadblocks that arise throughout life. Many of Lul’s clients find themselves overwhelmed with work stress or relationship stress. Their work may bring a sense of excitement into their lives but drain them emotionally, leaving them depleted by the time they go home each day. This can lead to a sense of anxiety or depression.

Lul’s approach to therapy draws heavily from coaching and addresses all parts of life, including the physical, emotional, mental, and spiritual. During sessions, clients look at the challenges at hand while also forecasting what’s upcoming and what may become a stressor. Lul provides clients with various tools to cease blaming themselves for past mistakes and move forward without impediment. Therapy modalities include Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) therapy, Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), somatic therapy, attachment-based therapy, and more. Clients benefit from Lul’s support as they heal core issues and avoid the negative patterns of the past.

Lul earned a Master’s degree in Social Work from the University of North Dakota. She has over 10 years of experience working in the mental health field, and her goal is to support clients to find empowerment and lifelong wellness in their lives so they can experience holistic health and happiness.
