Message to clients

Psychotherapy is a process by which progress and healing involves a deep commitment to yourself, the courage to face your challenges, and the belief that change is possible. Taking that first step is often the most difficult one, whether you're trying out therapy for the first time or have decided to return. My approach is collaborative and I aim to ensure a safe, private and inviting space where, together, we can sort through and make sense of your struggles and use these insights as a stage for change and transformation.

Anxiety - Coping with excessive worry, nervousness, or stress; intense discomfort in social settings (social anxiety); sudden and intense feelings of panic (panic disorder)

Depression - Providing support and promoting healing of hopelessness, low motivation and energy, sadness, irritability, sleep disturbance, and loss of interest and pleasure in life

Race & cultural identity - Exploring topics of racial, cultural, and ethnic background as it relates to one’s family origins and personal identity

Relationships - Understanding one’s wants and needs in relationships; exploring patterns of interaction, addressing concerns, and strengthening satisfaction in relationships and dating

Complex trauma - Coping and healing after long-term abuse, attachment wounds, or repeated traumatizing events such as witnessing domestic violence or experiencing sexual, verbal, emotional, or physical abuse

Men's health - Expertise in working with adult men; providing a safe and understanding space to address life challenges and promote physical and mental health
