Message to clients

The decision and process of coming to therapy is not always an easy one, so commend yourself for being here. It takes courage and honesty to explore personal concerns that are most important in your life. Finding the right therapist who you feel safe and comfortable with, and who is empathic, non-judgmental and compassionate, is essential to good therapy.

I am a Taiwanese American who grew up in the U.S. and Japan. My personal style is open-minded, warm, and introspective. In working with me, I aim to facilitate greater awareness about the relationship between your past and present thoughts, feelings, behaviors and experiences. I will collaborate with you to create an individualized treatment plan and adjust it as we continue to work together.

I believe the process of therapy will move you towards greater congruence with your ideal self and values, help you to gain valuable insight about yourself and your relationships, and give you tools that will support you in overcoming difficulties. Therapy can be freeing and empowering, and often leads to greater fulfillment and purpose in life.

I look forward to being part of your journey!
