ME Psychotherapy is a group practice with offices in Narragansett and Providence, Rhode Island. We have 18 therapists with a wide range of specialties and areas of expertise.
We strive to meet every client at the beginning of their therapy journey, while providing warm and supportive encouragement with working on therapeutic goals.
We have a dedicated administrative team (Office Director, Administrative Assistant, and Billing Assistant) to help with insurance eligibility questions, client portal enrollment, billing issues, and general administrative support.

What services does your practice offer?
ME Psychotherapy is a group practice with offices in Narragansett and Providence, RI. Our providers offer in-person and Telehealth therapy sessions. We also offer walk & talk therapy sessions in Providence and South County.
Our services include individual, couples, and family therapy sessions.
At times, we offer group therapy sessions (please check the Therapy Groups section for more details).
We also offer professional supervision services and emotional support animal letter consultations.
What are your practice's specialties?
Our group's primary speciality is maternal mental health. However, due to our large and diverse group of providers, we are pleased to be able to provide the following additional areas of specialty: anxiety, chronic health issues, depression, anger management, grief/loss, child and adolescent mental health issues, trauma, stress management, LGBTQI concerns, military issues, men's issues, college/graduate student mental health, perfectionism/overachieving, and parenting/family issues.

ME Psychotherapy has two locations in Rhode Island along with a robust telehealth program. Our providers have a wide range of specialties, making our group easily accessible for a variety of client needs. We are open 7 days a week, offering evening and weekend hours. We have a dedicated administrative team to assist with new client intake and insurance questions.
How does payment work at your practice?
At ME Psychotherapy, our licensed providers are in-network with Blue Cross/Blue Shield, United Healthcare, Student Resources, Harvard Pilgrim, Aetna, Cigna, Tufts, and Neighborhood Health Plan of Rhode Island. For clients using health insurance, we will check your insurance eligibility and let you know your copay or deductible fees.
Our pre-licensed therapists offer a sliding fee of $80 per session and accept the following insurance plans - Cigna/Evernorth, Tufts Commercial plans, United Community plans, and Neighborhood Health Plan (Access/Trust).
Our intern therapists offer a low rate of $65 or "pay what you can" for extreme financial hardship.
We provide insurance eligibility screening and claim submission on the client's behalf.
