ME Psychotherapy is a group practice offering outpatient counseling and energy healing, with offices in Narragansett and Providence, Rhode Island. We have multiple therapists with a wide range of specialties and areas of expertise.
We strive to meet every client at the beginning of their therapy journey, while providing warm and supportive encouragement with working on therapeutic goals.
We have a dedicated administrative team (Office Director, Administrative Assistant, and Billing Assistant) to help with insurance eligibility questions, client portal enrollment, billing issues, and general administrative support.
We are firm believers in social justice and easy access to mental healthcare - we look forward to working with you!
Our therapy providers offer in-person sessions in our Narragansett and Providence offices, along with telehealth and walk & talk therapy sessions in Providence and South County.
As a generalist practice with multiple providers, we offer a wide range of therapeutic styles and and interventions. Our therapists work with children, teens, adults, couples, and families.
At times, we offer group therapy sessions (please check the Therapy Groups section for more details).
We also offer energy healing services, clinical supervision, and emotional support animal letter consultations.
Our group's primary speciality is maternal mental health. However, due to our large and diverse group of providers, we are pleased to be able to provide the following additional areas of specialty: anxiety, chronic health issues, depression, anger management, grief/loss, child and adolescent mental health issues, trauma, stress management, LGBTQI concerns, military issues, men's issues, college/graduate student mental health, perfectionism/overachieving, and parenting/family issues.
ME Psychotherapy has two locations in Rhode Island along with a robust telehealth program. We also offer walk & talk therapy, using the outdoors as another unique office space.
Our dedicated and nonjudgmental providers have a wide range of specialties, making our group easily accessible for a variety of client needs.
We are open 7 days a week, offering evening and weekend hours. We have a dedicated administrative team to assist with new client intake and insurance questions.
At ME Psychotherapy, our providers are in network with the majority of RI and MA insurance plans (please see list for all plans). For clients who are out-of-network, we offer a low sliding fee of $100.
For clients using health insurance, we will check your insurance eligibility and let you know your copay or deductible fees. We can also provide you with a superbill to seek reimbursement from your insurance company if needed.
Our intern therapists offer a low rate of $65 or "pay what you can" for extreme financial hardship.
